Bontrager Line Dropper Height Change

Installing a 10mm spacer in my 2019 Bontrager Line Dropper 150mm post, to lower it to 140mm.

Make sure to get the right one….line dropper and drop line are the 2 models. Very similar names but different spacer.
And you have to put seatpost half erect…then put reducer on….full stiffy and it won’t fit.
Might as well smear a lil lube on it too.
If you bought the small reduced you may not really notice the reduction.

Worth noting, you have to compress the seat post to 50% to install the spacer, the spacer goes underneath the black bushing, the black bushing then goes back into the same place, above the travel reducer spacer

This is correct, I probably should have done more talking in the video with explanation...lol

Ordered a 30mm spacer, can’t fit it into mine? Yours seems to slide straight in

No sure man, you pull up that little internal coller after the threaded collar?

There are 2 different spacers available the 2 different models of Bontrager Dropper Posts, so you have to make sure you have the right spacer for your dropper post.

@ZenkiS14: I have the line dropper spacer for my line dropper post, the spacer fits in for the first 5mm then stops, if I force it down by sitting on the bike, the spacer still sticks out and I can’t get the washer over the top to screw the collar back on

Once you unscrew the first cover do you then lift up the second washer and put the spacer underneath it?

Yeah, slide the spacer in underneath the black washer
