Best video I've seen in a while. The "it broke" and walking out dragging the bike had me cracking up so bad

Apparently the guy landed this bad already multiple times before it broke.
Other brand's frames might have suffered the same.
And Intense replaced it for him quickly.
... thats what the same post on Instagram says.

Good on Intense, 'cuz that whole thing calls into question the superior strength argument for carbon far I's concerned. Head tube's gotta be tough. Can't be skimpin' on a head tube.

Amazed he suffered little if any injury. Also, I like this dudes sense of humor. Most would probably freak out after seeing an expensive bike break.
Props to Intense for replacing his frame~ I'm not sure what model Intense but if it's classified as an enduro/AM rig then I'd say they need to beef up the headtube a bit. If it's a XC/trail bike then it definitely isn't made for big hits like that.

He was fine and riding a loaner bike the next day! Intense had him back up and running in a week. Cant be mad about the service or product.... no bike would of survived the multiple attempts.

@NorthcountyAM: thanks for giving a little more insight into the events leading up to the break. I give props to the rider for giving it his all and not quitting as well as having a great sense of humor about it all. He proves to me he's a rider who's all about having fun~

Looks like carbon has the same strength as bamboo, if you take a look at the 12:40 mark of this video. Same result. www.youtube.com/watch?v=-nYhm0WIKsI

That gorilla tape is good haha not even a crack in his frame take a closer look ! Looks like tape flying of as he hits the floor his bars are still on his forks so how did he do that without damaging the front of his bike haha.

If you look closely the frame tube area (red) where it holds the fork looks like it has crack. The carbon just took its form back. I guess
