2007 Audi A4 S-Line
There are apparently some technical issues that are evident in the final product (free editing software - whatcha gonna do) but overall I'm happy.

Dude, your car is wicked.
Also, there are some sick shots in there. You have some serious talent.

Thank you and thank you. I'm just annoyed at how some clips I definitely remember cutting out are magically back there, things started jumping around, and how on the last clip it froze. I desperately need to buy some proper software.

PC. Sony Vegas crapped out on me so now I'm looking around. I'll start investigating what Photoshop's built-in video editing is like. I'd give Premier a shot if I could afford it. I really have no idea how to download it either. I'm such a noob at downloading.

I'm the same, don't worry.
I just sucked it up, and bought Premiere. It was totally worth it, and it's wicked. But yeah, i've heard that Sony Vegas Pro is alright.
Truth be told, I just want a Mac so I can use Final Cut Pro.

I have a really hard time operating editing software on a Mac because of the feel of the mouse. I wouldn't do it, but I won't stop you.

I have a really basic SevenOaks 120cm camera slider that I picked up off of Craigslist. I now appreciate the more expensive ones that have pivoting heads and adjustable legs to allow for one to angle the camera.

Yeah I'm not a fan of the white either, my dad wanted something different so he got what every other Audi owner in the area did But yeah, would've looked nice in black but the Jag we had was black so he fancied change, they look beautiful in midnight blue metallic though, he missed out there!

Have you ever seen a new S5 in black? It's my favourite car out there, honestly. The blue is nice too, but it almost demands for vehicle customizations. Please tell me your dad's not going to leave his stock for its eternity. My A4 was lowered on RS4 coilovers, given 19" S4 rims, transformed to an S-Line, given a new front grille with no license plate support, a lip spoiler, and window tint before it was even imported.

Yeah I have seen it in black, looks pretty imposing! And its probably staying stock as its going in two years, possibly for an F Type! Though a Miltek exhaust system would be perfect.

Also, a cheeky recording I got of the exhaust, as you know when parked there's a rev limiter, but still sounds good, you can just about hear the supercharger Link.

Nice! Just so you know, even if you have to do it behind your dad's back, please buy a chip. A supercharged S5 with a chip is faster than a stock RS5.

Yeah I know about those, plug it into the diagnostic port and it puts it up to about 420bhp This video shows what it does pretty good I'm aware its an S4 in the video but its the exact same engine as the current S5, and the S5 actually has the newer gearbox too that you'd find in the RS4, so it'd possibly be ever so slightly quicker than the latter S4!

He would if he was keeping it! Not worth the money if its going in two years. Has no idea what to get next though!
- + 1
The ECU remap to get it to 400 odd bhp is about £200 though, not THAT much, but as I said he isn't keeping it, so he isn't put any money into it that he doesn't have to.

But the chip would maybe convince him to keep it. Why the eff would he want to ditch a brand new S5?

2-3 years is long enough for me to want to drastically up the performance of a car for only 200 pounds.

There's Man in Manual. I'm familiar with Tiptronic, it was developed by Porsche and then licensed out to the likes of Land Rover, Audi etc. It's still heavily automated though as there's no clutch pedal. As far as I'm aware both America and Canada don't distinguish between a manual or automatic transmission for their driving licence, which mean a lot of people learn in automatic as it's a lot easier to pass your test! Where as in the UK in order obtain a full driving license you have to learn and pass in manual. I just find it funny as a lot of my American friends can't drive stick! Not hating though, just personal preference I guess. Great video and sweet car!

I never said I couldn't drive stick. I friggin' hate this half manual crap. I find that a lot of time I lose track of whether or not I'm in manual or automatic. If I'm in manual and the car isn't shifting (because it's learned that I want performance) I think I'm in manual because why else would it be revving at three grand, so I bump the shifter forward. Uh oh. Neutral shift.
So, tell me why Porsche would have invented this and then licensed it to Audi when both companies are owned by Volkswagen.

Porsche invented this technology. Evidently you aren't are as knowledgeable as you make out. "Tiptronic is a registered trademark, owned by German sports car maker Porsche, who license it for use by other manufacturers, such as Land Rover and the Volkswagen Group (Audi, SEAT, Škoda, Bugatti, Lamborghini, Porsche and Volkswagen)". Just because Volkswagen own Porsche (Only relatively recently might I add) it doesn't mean they own all the right and patents Porsche may have previously had.

I asked you to tell me how it worked that way, so no I wasn't trying to sound educated. "Evidently you aren't as knowledgeable as you make out." What the f*ck, buddy. That comment was unnecessary. At least you answered the question.
- + 1
That didn't really come across as a question. I mean you didn't even put a question mark.. You need to chill out, if anything your comment was "unnecessary". I was just asking about your car and completed you on your video and you just take everything so personally and get all defensive. Whatever man
Why not use the video editing software that came with your computer package.? Provided you are using windows. Movie maker. Simple but gets the job done.
