is it not personal preference whether to have brakes or not? stop bitching people! i also wud ride a rigid brakeless 24", purely for the fact that im too tall to feel comfy on a bmx, maybe this guy feels the same way. he's fegging awesome on his bike, maybe he doesnt shred quite as well on a bmx or with brakes, maybe its just a new challenge to try. OPEN YOUR MINDS PEOPLE!

im deff going to agree with you(bunkey0207), people are so biased, always concerned with what other people think, F**K, be your own person, he likes to ride a MB with pegs and brakelesss. If he likes it then he sould have every right to do so. who are you to be commenting on how he likes to ride, i bet very few, if not none; of you can rip like he does on his MB/BMX cross. so comeone people, STOP BEING IMMATURE AND OPEN UP YOUR MINDS.

A lot of ppl ride brakeless, especially BMX, it makes it easier to do tricks and such. i prefer to have the comfort of knwoing i wont get run down by a Semi, but I guess shoes make good brakes too lol.

@xt-shredder : it's a lot harder to jam your foot in the tire on a 26" bike than on a bmx
Personnaly I prefer brakes on a 26" bike, but on a bmx i prefer brakeless, for the main reason that bmx brakes suck!

awe man those 3"s higer is such a pain but really its just the same and these "bmx" brakes you say can work way better...think they have a 20" rotor

every bmx brake I've tried hasn't had 1/1000th of the braking power of an Avid BB7 or a tektro mech brake.

Yes every single person in the entire world that rides djs or dh runs v brakes...Its hard to be open minded with your head that far up your ass but give it a try for me k?
V brakes can be more powerfull but a disc has more modulation and control, that is why people run them.

Ok so v-brakes fit your style of riding better, I just prefer disc brakes. If you like the next time i see a DJer with v-brakes i'll ask him if i can try em out and i'll get back to ya ok?

And also at no time did I say that v brakes where better than disc or that disc is better than v.
Any furter response from you will go unanswered here cause i just got back from helping my schools special ed program, I don't need to help you to.

Called out!, sorry my mistake I should have watched that...personal opinion.
I like the feel of a good v or u brake, I also like the feel of a disc but their different and each have advantages. Thats what I was trying to explaing but with LUX responding the way he did I may have gotten a bit rattled and started typing with my finger and not my brain.

why don't you just ride a bmx bike the only difference is 20" wheels, that thing shouldn't be classified under mtn bike

you could ride a bike with brakes and not use them... unless you're about to get hit by a truck.
