don't get ahead of yourself now p-romano. just cuz someone can rip doesnt mean they need to be sponsored. There are a ton of kids out there that are fast and ride cat 1 but arent sponsored. heck im not even sponsored and i race cat 1 and have some good results

tstep3 calm down man he means for xc probably. Alex Chamberlin rides every day and deserves an xc sponsorship.

i wasnt mad by any means but i just dont understand how some people have a ton of sponsors, but if hes out riding everyday and racing then he doesnt need to worry about sponsors. Like what jmsxtreem said the sponsors will come to him

ride this open space probably 3 times a week that ridge trail is fun, you might want to try the single track that winds down the the lake that you can see from the top of the ridge.

at 2:57 theres a lip to the left and you launch over the whole rock garden. sick edit though. its right next to my house

yes because my am bike wasnt working at the time. its overkill for parts of that trail but not all of it.

Dude, really well done video. Faved for sure. That upper singletrack is really fun. Let's go for a ride on that soon. By the way Alex, go tubeless....

The riding was good but the filming was shaky, there were a ton of unnecessary, boring scenes, random scene placement (the randoms plants about 3/4 of the way through) and some cheesy clips (the silhouette that added nothing to it.)

i just rode in it. and i thought it was fine. the filmer is only 15. he's definitely on his way to bigger things tho

Jake is trying to say it is the videographer that produces a good film, not a $800 camera. Jake filmed an edit on a gopro and it looks better then tobie's crap slowmoed one

doornob100, what would you have put at the slower parts of the song, the breaks? Just wondering so I could improve next time.

theres nothing i could do to make the slowmo better on my camera alex. why do you guys spend so much time thinking of things to say about my filming though when it isnt even yours to harass or you had nothing to do with. just chill already.

cause we want u to have the skill to produce a quality edit before u drop hundreds of dollars on a new camera. and it seems like u think the new camera will make u a god at filming. that is y we give u shit.

well you could try saying it in a nice way thats what i mean. im cool with you telling me what i should do better but not just saying what i did wrong and being a hater

Okay, sorry, my first comment was a little harsh. But as for asking for help, I would just have put some of those nature shots or the silhouette at the beginning of the video. Because he's going uphill and downhill when its still relatively light outside but then there's a random sunset shot. A little less uphill may have been better because, though it is important, its not a great video shot. Maybe a long distance, longer shot of you going up hill would have been better. Also, you should work on panning and moving the camera smoother (try using a rubber band.) Yeah, maybe a little slow mo would have added to it, just make sure its a cool shot going downhill. Mainly, experience is going to make it better.

Yeah i totally agree about everything you said, except for the part about the slow mo, all of us want that, but none of us can figure it out, its pretty controversal

I would use slowmo, but my camera only records at a highest of 30fps, therefore making slowmo look very cheap and ruins the movie. And there was one long distance shot of the climbing, i felt like putting a little more climbing in than normal because I wanted the video to be different, Alex Chamberlin climbs as good as he comes down. And as for the non smooth panning, I was using a very cheapy tripod so even with a rubber band it doesn't look good. Yeah, it could be better but keep in mind all of this was filmed in one day.
