What was likely a pretty solid race run falls apart rapidly as he catches his 30-second man at an inopportune moment, causing a nasty crash. He gets back up (props!) only to have his broken brake lever get tangled up in his front wheel.

Thats why you should always pause to make sure everything works before you hastily push off. He shoulda yelled like Chewbacca after the last turn onto the bridge and force a pass. He could have won his class. But he looked up, missed his line and washed out the front tire like Sam Hill did at the World Champs in 08.
