Hi buspilot
Replacing the Fox 34 with the Lyrik was like getting a new bike; even it is 27.5 fork on a Meta 26. The Lyrik is much more noticeable out on the trail, especially on rougher sections where the terrain is constantly pushing and pulling on the fork, the Fox 34, I think is too fluffy and is a misplaced fork on a Meta (Fox lovers will hate me for that comment). The “longer” fork will not have any negative effect on the performance on the bike; on the contrary, you get a much more versatile fork which will out-perform Fox when it comes to downhill sections. I mainly ride in bike parks and trails with high jumps, roots sections and drops and I’m not filling that any unwanted feedback is being transmitted through the chassis. I think I have much more play full bike than I had before. As you can see I also replaced the shock with a DB Inline.
