The argument for moving the cleat backwards isn't really about power; it's that it protecting you from overworking your achilles and your calves so that they don't fatigue and/or get injured, and not being fatigued or injured is more efficient in the long run.
When using a forward position, the achilles and calves are not just more involved in pedaling but have to support more force from your body weight every time you're out of the saddle and hitting rocks or landing drops. I have a tendency for tight achilles and plantar fasciitis, and I notice a big difference using a rearward position (and now a mid-foot position on flats)

I found articles on other sites that say the Pyslo is replacing the Yari, Revelation, and 35. At least in these travel ranges, because the 35 was also sold in short-travel XC versions and I don't know if those are being replaced by anything different. Overall, they're simplifying the model lines
