Kyle & Rachel Strait Sign with Ari Bikes
@joostd: to me it conjured an off-brand copy of an Italian race car. It sounded cheap, like a generic Amazon/Alibaba brand name. It didn't make any sense for the brand – it gave them nothing to work with, no stories to tell – and it wasn't open-ended, as ARI is.

Kyle & Rachel Strait Sign with Ari Bikes
As a former employee of Kyle and Rachel's former bike sponsor, I've gotta say that this comes as a huge relief. Many of us who were laid off are still looking for work in a very competitive job market. The bike industry isn't doing too hot, jobs are scarce, and budgets are tight. I'm glad that ARI is stepping up to the plate. Kyle is the real deal and he should get paid handsomely by this industry. Side note: Kudos to the marketing team at Ari for the rebrand – the old name was a major stumbling block, and those of us who've worked behind the scenes understand that a rebrand is massive work. Don't listen to the rabble. Your bikes look great and sponsoring Kyle and Rachel is a good move. I think you nailed it with ARI. I wish you all the success.

The spot was already blown. If you want to find out where in the world anything is manufactured, just search on Import Yeti. Any company that actually tries to hide that kind of info is sus.

Mass Redundancies Reported at Wiggle Chain Reaction
If any of the armchair economists in the comments would like a bit of insight as to how these things can happen, even when the warning signs seem obvious, here's a pretty in-depth postmortem from the VP of Commercials Ops at SIGNA Sports United USA: https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/postmortem-signa-sports-united-jacob-dudek-xau9f/ PS: the Escape Collective is currently running a four-part podcast series about the current predicament of the bike industry. Evil Bikes Announces Company Layoffs
As someone who was laid off from Nukeproof/Vitus in October, I can say this: it's a hell of a time to be seeking employment within the bike industry. It's got to be tough to be in Moeschler's shoes right now, and even harder to be the folks who are suddenly out of work. Best of luck to all the talented folks at Evil.
