Must Watch: Fabio Wibmer Absolutely Sends It in 'Fabiolous Escape 2' - Video

Since joining YouTube in 2008, the edits of Austrian trial and mountain bike star Fabio Wibmer have accumulated over 125 million views. As just recently the number of his subscribers closed in on the mark of 1 million, it was clear to Fabio that he wanted to do something big to celebrate this milestone. The result is Fabiolous Escape 2.

Refusing to let the snow of the Austrian winter keep him off his bike, Fabio heads to Saalbach Hinterglemm to enjoy a great day in the mountains. Unfortunately, the ski police has other ideas. Attempting to outrun – or rather out-ride - the police, Fabio makes use of everything the Austrian ski resort has to offer. No gap too large to hit, no roof too high to drop, this highly entertaining police chase has to be seen to be believed.

Shot amongst the stunning scenery of Austria’s Saalbach Hinterglemm over the length of 24 days, turning his crazy vision into reality was certainly Fabio’s biggest project to date.

 You can achieve freecoasting by replacing a gear with an extra spacer and shifting into that slot.

 @Dustfarter: Back in the day, when we were kids, we used to play a game called Zulu, where a guy would ride his bike down the street, and we would try to throw sticks as spears (I've since learned they're called ass-guys or something) through the wheels to get them to lock up and stop the guy. My heart swelled when I saw the Polizist pull this move with that ski pole. Many a friend went over the bars like that playing Zulu.

 I think my favorite bit is when he flips the table and takes off on the giant table-board and slides on down the hill on it. It's so unexpected amongst the genuinely amazing riding / building gapping / heli tapping good time, the humor in all of it really stands out!

 The snow makes some of these big stunts a little more forgiving when he falls. Same reason free riders came to the soft soils of virgin Utah, and rampage later. He straight killed it and showed his progression in the big stuff. I wonder if he would ever want to compete at an event like rampage in the future. Also I like how they borrowed a lot of the style of cinematography and stunt work from Ken blocks gymicana drift videos. This guy knows how to entertain big time on the big bike for sure. Super creative work.
