Fantasy DH League Results: Who Won the First Round - Fort William DH World Cup 2024
Yeah it said that in the rundown of how the season works. If your rider value changes they bump your highest value person. You can put them back on your team but you'll have to trim budget in other places.

Duh! Welcome to the PB comment section! LOL! I love the work the PB team put into this. Love the concept and the challenge of having sliding scales. Just wish the budget was a tad higher.

@brianpark: I think the intention is/was great. The execution not so much. $1 for a top rider when your budget is $1.5 creates a system where you don't have difficult choices, you have no choice. Essentially, you can't put the top end riders on your team. You pick one of them you're then forced to fill your team with people that are very likely to put up zeros. It's just not fan friendly. People want to be able to have people on their team that are a threat to win it not a bunch of people you hope make finals. I think with the current structure $2.5 would be reasonable but I'd bump it to $2m immediately. That allows you to run 1-2 people that are shots to win. 1-2 people that are podium contenders and a couple people that are at the very least likely to make finals. Having the ability to build a team that at least everyone scores is pretty rad. So the scores bump up. You are still going to have to make difficult choices and your top end players are still going to be players that spend time and make good choices. But at least it's fun for casuals at that point and people can put people on their team that they know.

How Tight? Examining the UCI's Clothing Rules for DH Racing
@TylerP15: it very cleverly skirts the rules. The entire thing slides up over your head and creates a single piece. The “jersey” is a padded base layer covered by a small bike piece jumpsuit. It’s intentionally skirting the rules. Personally I think it’s genius. I think it looks great and is incredibly function.

How tight really shouldn't even be the question here.... it's 1 piece or 2.

How Tight? Examining the UCI's Clothing Rules for DH Racing
Here's the deal.... according to the CURRENT rules those are 100% illegal. It's really not that hard to figure out and there's really nothing to talk about. You either update the rules or you tell them they can't wear them. "Jerseys designed for road cycling, skinsuits, or one piece suits comprising the jersey and the pants/shorts are not permitted for use in downhill events." ONE PIECE SUITS COMPRISING THE JERSEY AND THE PANTS ARE NOT PERMITTED... Personally I think they look sick but that doesn't matter.... rules are rules.

@mikekazimer: Palmer literally lost to Tomac arguably because of a skin suit. So you're most definitely right... hundredths matter.

@toast2266: Think so. Think that's why Vital doesn't even have team building open right now.
