They need to offer the option of left or right for the double-crown side, to cater to each person's natural tendency for cross ups. For me it is a left turn, so would prefer a right side double-crown.

Or if they want to make a business out of it, just make the rubber/silicone insert to put between a 35mm stem and a 31.8mm bar. Could be used with any existing combo of those.
