Spotted: Canyon's High-Pivot Carbon Sender - Fort William DH World Cup 2024
@R-M-R: oh yeah, hadn't noticed which link the brake was mounted on. This means it will probably have a whole lot of brake jack. But I guess they know what they're doing...

It's not that complex is it? It's just upside down split pivot/Trek ABP

Video: Vali Höll Shares What it Takes to be a DH Athlete
You can also see it a little later when she's walking the bike around, and the AXS remote is clear several times

Spotted: Vali Holl Appears to Be Testing a Flight Attendant Equipped RockShox Boxxer
Is that an AXS remote we can see under the left brake lever (right in the picture obvs)? Would suggest it's FA rather than data logging

Opinion: The Fight for the Future of Our Mountains
@Sscottt: can't do snow cannons if it's above freezing. And it's rained a lot and washed the snow away

Vivo Cycling Previews All-Aluminum 12-Speed Derailleur
My bad, it's not the KMC, but the YBN SLA that ZFC rate. Either way, no need for the new manufacturers to make a chain when there are specialist businesses that do nothing else

Vivo Cycling Previews All-Aluminum 12-Speed Derailleur
I don't think making a chain is necessary - KMC for example already make excellent chains - their 11spd was top rated by zero friction cycling. Don't know how good their new 12 speed is yet

Downhill Bikes of Sea Otter - Part 2
@rojo-1: I have a Specialized Zee side entry cage which is held on by an SKS anywhere mount and zip ties, which means I can get the bottle at an angle, as it wouldn't fit straight onto the frame. I stole an elastic hair band from my wife, which is looped round the cage and I slip it over the bite valve which has stopped the bottle from escaping, and is a bit more subtle than ski straps

First Ride: Michelin's Aggressive New Wild Enduro Tires
@souknaysh: the Argo is my winter cheater tyre, though for some reason I've barely used it this year. Very happy with the Krypto rear - I just like if forget it's there. Finally starting to round off, but wear has been good (for mainly natural self-propelled riding rather than park etc)

Review: Race Face's Era Chainring Uses Steel, Carbon, & Aluminum
@jethromtbr: the GX chains are still pretty wear-prone - the X01 chains last several times longer. Can't remember where the difference in hardening is, but they certainly work out much cheaper in the long run
