I've got a solid 2011 Trek Session 8 here just waiting for a good home. This is the perfect bike for someone jumping in to DH, someone looking to build a dream machine, or even someone that just wants a nice bike to thrash on. I originally purchased this bike at the end of last season with the intent of building it up in to my dream DH build - well here it sits, in the box that it arrived in, and it needs to go to someone who is going to do what it was built to do. Everything on the bike is in perfect working order although this bike is used and does show some signs of it (most notably shoe rub on the crank arms and the random paint scratches from sticks etc.). There are no dents or structural damage. The previous owner maintained this bike very well and it was serviced by a mechanic just before coming to me. The bearings all feel solid but I am not sure if they have ever been changed. The rear shock feels great, but am not sure on the last rebuild - same goes for the fork. Spec list is stock with the exception of me including a brand new SDG i-beam post and SDG Fly i-beam saddle (black/green!), as well as the pedals pictured. I've got a beautiful, raw, Orange Five frame for sale. The frame is in very good shape - no dents, deep scratches or dings. Just a beautifully hand welded(in the UK) piece of British aluminum. This has been, hands down, the best fs AM/trail bike I have ever owned. Sad to see it go but moving to a new house means letting go of a few things. The frame includes a Cane Creek 40 headset, SDG ibeam post and Duster seat. It also includes the pictured RS Monarch RC3+ AND a near new Manitou Revox Pro coil shock (a whole new beast of a bike!) 20mm axle. Currently set to 160mm but is capable of 170mm(remove a spacer) and 150mm (add a spacer). I can include a 10mm spacer that would be useful for dropping it to 150mm. Not much else to say about this fork besides the fact that it has amazing HSC/LSC settings that make it great for tuning out both the large hits and small bumps. I had a Marz 55 that I had once thought was the most plush fork I had owned and then I got this..for those that care I'd say the Lyrik walks all over the marz but that's just my opinion. The amount of adjustability has made this fork great for trips from Brown County to Plattekill. Fork is functionally solid, was rebuilt at the end of last season prior to my owning it. There are small scratches and nicks but nothing out of the ordinary. The stantions are perfectly clean, and even have a nice sag guide on them. The steerer is tapered and cut to 7-5/8" (slightly more.) Only trade I would be interested in really is a 26" fork. Fox 32/34, RS Revelation/Pike/Reba 150mm preferred. Buyer pays shipping!

For sale is one of the sickest hard tails you will ever ride. This bike is built to handle anything you can throw at it. With the 150mm Revelation RCT3 up front (can be set to 140) it puts it at a slack 66 degrees. Don't let the HTA fool you though, its easy to shift your weight over the front end for climbing hills. I have had nothing but fun on this bike. Everything is in perfect working order and will be ready to rip right out of the box. I keep very good care of my bikes and it shows - no dings/dents and no major scratches. There are minor scrapes but no metal showing.
