If you haven't already come across their viral clips, do yourself a favor and check out the Trio's account: https://www.instagram.com/triobehindbars/ I've seen lots of groms come up in BMX and MTB in SoCal and it always blows me away. But these kids are outrageous and Wes is like... I dunno he's at the level of a dedicated rider twice his age. I can't imagine what he's gonna be like at 18. If he leans more freeride or slopestyle. It just blows my mind. And there's potentially 2 other kids on the same trajectory. Modern kids bikes are epic.

Hopefully Discovery continues to improve the youtube highlights package because if not it's just pointing the gun at DHs foot. I love watching juniors on youtube. That's great. I don't understand why semis are not on youtube? If it's not even being broadcast I'm not sure I want riders taking extra race runs that count for points. Increasing chance of injury/fatigue/etc. AT LEAST with the semis broadcast you have the justification of eyes on the product. But without that it's just punishment basically. I don't want to beat the dead horse of the paid sub... But I do want to promote the efficacy of the youtube channel. Promote the sport. Otherwise you're killing your own business proposition...

I don't quite recall Minnaar being the king of fashion at events (wasnt he on oneal forever?) but his kit for this event and those goggles are radical. Even if he doesn't win an 8th Ft Bill he wins the catwalk (now to try to win the boardwalks).

@pwkblue: That's a good point. Especially if they were run super early as well. I'd spend 5-10 minutes looking at that creek pull as well lol

@finnspin: I'm aware not every rider takes TT runs seriously. But honestly most riders try to get to a point of doing T to Bs with no stops to get a feel for race runs and fitness for qualies. That's basically what TT is. Practicing a qualy run for both the riders and organizers. My only question was did a logistics issue happen during the womens juniors because. It seems like one rider got a eral run in and everyone else had some serious struggles. I know they may have been ran earliest so it's possible no one wanted to push a T to B with so little warm up. This conversation is getting so off track lol. It's def weird that almost EVERY OTHER DIVISION had a normal TT. And the junior gals seem held up.

@karatechris: those are practice runs. not timed training. im so confused do people think TT runs are just peoples best practice runs? they set up the timers and ensure safe intervals for TT (mostly to make sure timing is working tbh)
