Feb 8, 2023Giro switchblade helmet Matt/gloss black, Medium
$120 GBPGiro switchblade MIPS cycling helmet Matt/gloss black, Medium
Matte / gloss black details
Removable chin bar
Medium (55-59cm)
Original bag, both peaks (with and without GoPro Mount)
Used maybe 5 times, never crashed, some minor marks in the matte clear coat from placing the helmet down on gravel (shown in photos - looks lovely but you do need to look after it!)
Amazing helmet, best I’ve ever owned and looks great if you prefer the “stealth” look, it’s just sitting around collecting dust though due to other commitments
Think I have the original cardboard box - if required I will find it but it was flimsy rubbish anyway
Pads and inner lining all washed
Collection from Gillingham near Frome (Dorset) or somewhere near by - will ship within the U.K. shipping cost to be agreed with buyer if preferred over collection

What it's like to ride:
Confidence inspiring geometry
Go anywhere try anything hardtail (within reason the Sentier punches well above it's weight, especially in the 29er spec)
Rolls over anything, perfect for days out on a local loop with a dropper post
Great fun on uplifts or bike parks too
Great bike for transitioning from a beginner bike to stepping up to harder features and trails, or a daily duty workhorse
If you're unsure - just read some reviews
Whilst it's not a "light" bike by modern carbon standards, it's certainly not overly heavy but is built solidly and with the 130mm rockshox recon forks and the MT400 brakes it's a fantastically fun bike
Feels tight as anything with the boost axles front and rear, and with some small upgrades it's difficult to match in this price range
