[UPDATED] Elite Finals Results & Overall Standings from the Fort William DH World Cup 2024
They showed the entire track, which I really appreciated. We forget, but Redbull never showed the entire top section and it's one of the coolest sections of the track.

Aaron Gwin Joins Commentary Line-Up for First 4 DH World Cups
@chris-pagan: I actually don't mind Ric at all as the professional commentator, with the subject matter expert commentator partner commentating with him (Gwin). I feel like it's a good dynamic that's used regularly in other sports.
And yeah, I'm sure Cedric is fine as a french language commentator.

You've got a lot more leeway on how heavy/overbuilt the shock/fork can be on a powered moto. Mtb suspension is partially compromised due to weight considerations.

The regional races are as hype as ever. UCI is just full of bungling morons.
Give the coverage to someone else who actually cares about it and centre it around long-form recaps with a lots of nearly full-run POV coverage, and you've got a great product.
I keep saying, but if they treat it like Rally racing instead of F1, I think it'll come roaring back.

The top performing XC riders over the last few years seem to be more technically gifted than in the past - though there were always top level outliers like Schurter. And there's no denying that courses have gotten more technical. In years past, there were certainly an over abundance of courses that favoured pure fitness over technical riding chops.
