Cree make's solid led's (not the fake one's). I can't speak for the other guys but I can personally tell you we don't use the same controllers. If you really stack our lights (or any real light mfg) up against amazon specials there is no comparison. What comes down to costs of a light is the quality of parts and the design of how it increases your night riding experience.

Hey man thank you for your support! Sorry to hear about the mix up on optics. Give it a go and if you don't enjoy the spot I can replace it with a flood beam no problem. I will be redoing the website over summer and adding in a shipping component is on the list.
Stoked you liked the blue anodizing. That was only for the first 50 lights but maybe I'll bring it back for the next product launch I do. I may still have a few pieces here or there to put one more together. When your ready for your next light let me know ahead of time and if I still have them You could possibly own the only 1000 lumen model in blue anodizing!

Our 1000 has a flood however our 800 and 600 models have the option when our heading for a spot or a flood!
