I am selling my custom built Why/Revel Cycles El Jefe single speed. I bought this as a frame and wheels from Why Cycles before Adam fully merged the companies together and branded them Revel. This is a custom build I put together 2 years ago. I’ve put about 250 miles on it splitting time with my 429. It’s been a great bike but my age and shoulder are telling me I need to give up hard tail SS life. It can be converted to geared pretty easily. Revel even sells UDH dropouts of you want to go with SRAM Transmission. Selling my X-large 2021 429. I bought this bike brand new from Absolute Bikes in Salida, CO at the end of July 2021. I’ve ridden it about 400mi according to my Strava. The stays have a little bit of wear marks and there is a few decent scratches on the non-drive side from when I tipped it over in PHX going about 4mph on a switch back. Zero structural damage, all cosmetic. There’s a few nicks on the Race Face cranks. I also have a set of XT cranks I can include as well. I ran these 98% of the rides on this bike so they are pretty marked up but you can have them with the bike to use if you’d like. The bar, stem, and grips are practically brand new. Only bike/frame I would trade for is a Revel Rascal V2.
