I enjoy technical riding, mostly cross-country, look for slow technical ascents and descents.

Help Save the North Fork trail system in Whatcom County (Washington)
Those government and town council guys just like to bully people, especially if you rub them the wrong way. They won't understand how much the trails mean to people because they don't care; dealing with them is a waste of time. You should bring the story to the media, make a big deal out of it. Try to convince the workers that are actually tasked with destroying the bike trails that they should refuse to do the work. Will DNR put up a big fuss over a $23k project that is aimed solely to piss off mountain bikers because some council member got rubbed the wrong way and they have nothing better to do. If someone plans to log the area you can forget it though, it is worth too much money you can't stop it. In the end, nothing lasts forever. I hope you guys end up saving the trails. Good luck.

Cedric Gracia blasting on a 29er
I think they invented 29ers so that we could tell which bikers like to whine and complain so we can go ride with someone else.

Cedric Gracia blasting on a 29er
I'm pretty sure Gracia will ride faster than you guys on any bike he uses, that is why companies pay him to ride their new bikes. I really don't understand the fuss, now you can choose between 26 inch wheels and 29 inch wheels - what is bad about that? It is just giving us more options

good example is at 2:30 - What happens if his back wheel hits that fence? I guess after you've wiped out on enough railings and staircases you just don't have any fear anymore. For some reason in street culture it is uncool to wear a helmet; the pros should maybe take some responsibility and start wearing helmets in their videos even if they don't need them. I love those hang-five combos he does in the first half of the video!

seen a lot of BMX videos before from the pros and I have never seen that front flip to manual or the backflip to manual like he did on the quarter pipe ledge. You'd have to be crazy to even try something like that. Amazing video

Pinkbike Photo of the Year - Vote Now
The chairlift photo is cool but in the dirt jump photo the guy is completely inverted with his hands out - that is a hard photo to get. It's a shame two of the best photos have to square off so soon. I think the guy doing the flip in #4 should have won as well as the guy in the tube #3 but I guess majority rules.

I think it is safe to say everyone watching these videos wants to see BIKING but only some people want to see a guy wake up in the morning, load their truck, eat breakfast etc... If those scenes were removed completely, everyone would be happy. I agree totally with dtrainmiller; videos like that aren't artistic or original they just do the same thing over and over again ...get on to the biking already!
