You are almost correct. The Frognerseter can be shuttled by the subway, although it is not sub-surface at that part. The lines in the wood are built and maintained by local guys. Oslo is in fact a great town for general trailriding and the subway(tram) is a good way to save the legs some km to get out of the city and to where “marka” (the forest) begins. But, Oslo is hardly the cliche continental “euro” town.
