@oldsam: Agree, London is a great place to live (Free Market Proof : the price of a pint), lots of great spots to ride bikes. All this negativity about the UK from the Land of the Free is just the usual lazy thinking, regurgitated FB nonsense. Those of us in the UK thinking this or that place is doomed or full of scumbags or whatever: Do something about it. Our current attitude to public spending and wealth means there are haves and have nots, nice places to live and rough places to live and inevitably people who find crime more lucrative than min wage. And if that's too liberal for your tastes, then accept that crime will always exist regardless of how upset the "bike thieves must die" windbags get on PB comments. MK isn't a terrible place, nor is Fort Bill and lots of bikes have gone walkies there. It's horrible for the mechanics who lost their toolkits, Asa who lost a WC winning bike and for a small outfit to suffer this setback one brilliant race into the season. Thankfully no one was hurt. Stuff can be replaced. Their merch ships to the UK for a very decent price.

@a-green: Agree, looks like it comes pre-crashed, their previous bikes were such lookers too.

@TommyNunchuck: It's quite common for mountain bikers to judge BMXers, usually on the "no helmet" ticket. I believe you may have invented a new sub-genre though... judging them on the unprofessional nature of their builds. I doubt that when they set fire to the whole fucking thing and start pinging rockets at one another on the last night of Swampfest there will be enough fire blankets and extinguishers to go around, let alone the correct ratio of (sober) first aiders. I look forward to your comments on these matters in due course.

It's not a corporate RedBull build though, it's a dribble of money from bike companies for plywood and concrete, the rest is up to them how much protection they put on. BMX is very non-judgemental like that.

@mark-p: As with all democratic elections, the amount of campaign funding is a decisive factor. Leave spent many many times more on campaigning than remain did. Cameron wanted to put an end to an old tory civil war, and I agree he thought it would be a walkover, but he was out-manouvered by a much more successful campaign to leave. Where all that money came from is the interesting part. I agree with others here that Brexit as a single factor probably didn't kill Orange, but it certainly didn't help them survive either.

@Allen82: Mate, use your vote, the very worst of the worst want a docile, unpolitical public to lead by the nose and blindly accept lies and corruption. Look at the US, that's where we'll be if we don't learn something from Brexit.
