The Advocate Cycles (now Esker) Watchman titanium was designed very similar to the first generation Salsa Beargrease. They share very similar geometry and frame specs. Despite being a 6-7 year old frame, the geo is still relevant to today's top fat bikes. This titanium frame offers a very comfortable ride feel and can accommodate tires sizes up to 26x4.6 and 27.5x4.0. There was a minor repair done to the frame after a chainring damaged the chainstay during a week long trip (worn BB). A picture of weld is included and the repair work was done by a professional Ti frame builder. The rear hub spacing is 177 and the Portage dropouts are fully adjustable. Esker sells UDH dropouts that fit on this frame as well (if you fancy having a SRAM Transmission drivetrain) I'm selling this bike because find the medium frame a tad too small for me. SQ Lab Carbon bar - 780mm (uncut) - 31.8 clamp - 45mm rise - 12 degree backsweep - 4 degree upsweep 12 degree backsweep reduces reach and puts wrists in a more natural position. This lightweight carbon bar is best suited for touring or bikepacking with a MTB. Or, folks looking for an increased natural arm and hand position. There is some surface damage to the left grip area but the bar is structurally sound and not compromised. Long story short, a bike wheel got entangled on the bar during a long transport. The spokes of the wheel shredded off a foam grip that was installed and then caused surface damage. I've used this bar on a couple large trips afterward with no issue. I'm selling because the Rise is too high and I don't need it anymore.
