@mtmc99: Agreed, some forks still don't have an option, so I made this: www.etsy.com/listing/1401929680

Feb 26, 2023Custom Marin Hawk Hill
$1200 USDPosting for my partner. This is a 2018 Marin Hawk Hill that has been upgraded nearly all around, including a dropper, fork and brakes.
The perfect bike for smaller riders getting into the sport or growing juniors. This is a well rounded trail bike that can be used for everything from long cross country rides to rougher descents thanks to the two position fork, strong brakes, and reliable components.
Frame, wheels (which are tubeless ready), rear shock, crankset and cockpit are stock. The rear shock has been rebuilt recently. The original 120mm fork is included. These bikes are now called the Rift Zone 27.5.
Info about the stock bike can be found here: https://www.marinbikes.com/bikes/2018-hawk-hill#geometry
Upgraded components include:
Fork: Fox 34 Talas. Rebuilt with new seals recently.
This has two travel positions of 130mm or 160mm. Bike works well set at 160 or keep it at 130 for a more stock feel.
Seatpost: Brand X 125mm internally routed dropper post
Drivetrain: Microshift Advent X (10 speed with 11-48 tooth cassette)
Brakes: Shimano Deore brakes (model m6100) with sintered pads.
Rotors: TRP rotors 203mm front, 180mm rear.
Tires: Continental Baron 2.4 front, Kaiser 2.4 rear. Front is setup tubeless. Rear has a tube in currently.
No pedals included so that you can install your choice. But I do have some plastic test pedals if you want those. raceface chester or oneup composite pedals are perfect flat pedals for $40.

First Ride: Trek's New Fuel EX Has More Travel & More Adjustments
34.5 lbs for an aluminum trail bike. A 4 lb gain over the previous Aluminum fuel ex. The carbon gains 3 lbs over the previous version it looks like. Context to my previous comment.
Design an e-bike, remove the motor call it a mountain bike. RIP to any R+D for actual mountain bikes I guess
