Review: Zerode G3 - A Belt Driven, Gearbox Equipped DH Bike
@Jake-Whitehouse: Yep, this. I have multiple sets, all rattle if the spring isn't spread. Super easy, and silent once you do it. My bikes are suuuper quiet, so I'm picky about sounds.

Pinkbike Poll: Riser Bar or Extra Spacers Under the Stem?
I came to say this very same thing. 6'2" and my ideal reach is 500mm. 25mm spacers and my beloved 50mm Chromag aluminum 31.8 bars. Being 6'2" I suddenly find myself right between the L and XL. I don't mind going 15mm short, but not a fan of going even 5mm too long. But hey, it works, and at least there's a few solid bikes that fit, so life is good.

Devinci Announces All-New E-Troy Lite & Yoann Barelli Shreds It
@Emailsucks98: 100%. I'll be buying a full fat because I'm avg weight for a taller guy and need it for surgery recovery. Also have dreams of doing some huge, stupid exploratory rides around Mad Lake and in the Gifford. Maybe try to make one of those death marches we did in Salmon Le Sac actually fun. I'll keep the meat motor for typical local stuff. I have a couple friends that went from full fat to a lighter bike due to how they handle on tech descents. This includes women friends who are absolute shredders, but aren't big.

Downhill Bikes of Sea Otter - Part 1
How dafuq do you service the rocker pivots on the GT Fury? Nice looking bike... also looks like a nightmare. Same with all these other 6-bar and high-idler bikes. Nightmares, all. Neko has it right.

Brian's Randoms from Sea Otter 2024
@ReubenSandwich: Good point. Pumps and keeping your whole fleet of bikes as consistent as possible. I ride "gravel" (aka a road bike that doesn't suck) and swap my OneUp pump over to that bike when on long rides. I also have one nice floor pump. Not interested in switching heads every other day.

Review: 6 Months on the New Race Face Era Carbon Wheels
@souknaysh: Agreed. If they offered them with DT350 hubs I'd buy them tomorrow. I don't do loud or unreliable hubs.
