Pinkbike Poll: Riser Bar or Extra Spacers Under the Stem?
This. As Henry has pointed out, headtubes are too damn short.

A Deeper Look At The Latest Trinity MTB Gravity Project
@eae903: Twice now, to be fair it is fairly rare, but the last one was only a couple of months ago and the price of the new parts still smarts so I can't ride through "crap" without clenching now...

First Look: Deity Releases New Stems, Grips, & Pedals
@R-M-R: +1 for push on grips. A bit of grip wrestling once in a blue moon is well worth the effort to get an extra mm of thickness of rubber between you and the bar. A compressor makes it super easy anyway.

Brian's Randoms from Sea Otter 2024
Going to be difficult to fit the cassette into a lot of frames with the small sprocket being 2.5mm further outboard. I'm not bothered about the mech but I'd really like to try the transmission cassette and chain with my mechanical one.

First Look: Deity Releases New Stems, Grips, & Pedals
30mm (30.5 really) is lovely, but since every manufacturer seems obsessed with pushing the (in my opinion daft) 35mm bar "standard" and the shortest you can do with that is 32 (31.8mm absolute minimum) we seem to have very few options for it now... Progress!

Madrone Cycles' SRAM Eagle Repair Kits & Prototype Derailleur
Super into that replacement cage. But went to try to buy one and it's sold out! I like how it addresses the issue that broke my original one. What happens is that a stick gets onto the chain and is carried back to the mech, then the teeth on the jockey-wheel grab it and try to feed it through the entire cage, only it won't fit, so you end up pedaling your derailleur and hanger into a mangled mess. The shape of this looks like it will make that much less likely. Kudos.

First Ride: Michelin's Aggressive New Wild Enduro Tires
Really liked the old Wild Enduros in the summer, but the low temp performance was so bad that they wont be getting another try.

First Ride: 2024 Mondraker Dune eMTB - Punchy, Maneuverable, & Light Enough
@solamanda: sounds lovely. But for me, the "whole point" of any bike is to have fun, so I want the bike to be as fun as possible and a genuinely lightweight ebike seems to give me maximum fun as I can still bunnyhop and do tech stuff as needed but spend less time on the dull climbs.
