Digit Announces New Ring Trail Bike
I find this design really convincing due to the combination of high strength/weight ratio and high lateral rigidity. As such, it could be used in bikes for every MTB segment.

Pinkbike Poll: Center Lock or 6-Bolt Brake Rotor Mounting?
@Zezzy612: How the hell did you do that? A rotor can conceivably be bent from hitting something or getting hit by something, but the bend is towards the wheel. Anything else must be considered a very unlikely (and to me, unimaginable) event.
I must also say that a lot of multi-tools have a rotor-straightening slot (simply a rotor-wide slot) or come with pliers.

@Jamesthemtb-er: Just check if it's tight from time to time, no need to carry lockring too. But yeah, that's the weakness of centerlock, the attachment is not as reliable. Nobody worries about 6-bolt rotors becoming loose.

There's nothing to it, just screw/unscrew the centerlock lockring with a cassette lockring tool. That's all, no other tools needed.

It obviously adds weight, the question is how much. 300 grams would be awful. For 200 grams, I could get by without it. I could tolerate an extra 150-100 grams for it.

I also often forget I'm not riding an EMTB when ascending. Or just never think about it at all, unless I get passed by one. I think this is the reason why so many people are wanting one. Not wanting to feel left behind.

Reviewed: 6 of the Best Lightweight Elbow Pads for 2024
Been happy with the 100% Teratec Plus. Stays in place. Doesn't bother me. Has a good coverage and enough protection. That would be it. Of course, the "bothering" is relative. I want to get them out after riding, it's not like knee pads that I don't mind keeping. Probably because the arms are more sensible to heat, or because there is a jersey on top of them.
