@d3ftone: My only issue with ebikes is the land access issue it creates. Many trails are constantly under battle with people trying to find a reason to ban mtb's completely. An ebike is technically a motor vehicle in the most jurisdictions in the US. Therefore cannot be ridden on non-motorized trails. I could care less if ebike sales rocket up %500. I just don't want to lose anymore access to trails. I don't want the fuckwits with the Sierra Club slandering some trail meeting, propagating some bs about "All mtbs have a motor now we need to remove them from these lands...etc"or"With so many bikes with 'motors' we can't tell the difference of which one has what. We just need to remove them all from our trail systems".
