Madrone Cycles' SRAM Eagle Repair Kits & Prototype Derailleur
I don't see the point of this for Shimano derailleurs. In my 35+ years of riding with Shimano Deore LX, SLX, XT, and XTR, I've only broken one LX derailleur only because I had a bad chain suck from a SRAM chain that had it's outer plate snap while riding out in the cold. Due to the cold and salt, the chain rusted immediately even after cleaning it and regreasing the night before. The chain kinked up so bad that it wound up in my rear spokes and sucked in the derailleur cage. The older Shimano derailleurs are solid and practically bomb proof. The newer ones are lighter and more plastic, except for the XTR's - they're very light and great! The clutch mechanisms are also quite interchangeable within their model speed series (eg: 10-spd SLX through XTR and so on). So, it's pretty affordable to get SLX or XT parts to replace practically any part of derailleur or get a new derailleur of the same kind and use the old one for parts later on. The XTR versions are actually very resilient and will last a long time if you clean it (inside and out) once in a while. Clutches wear out and you just need to get the XT or SLX version and pop it in. The jockey wheels are a bit more expensive for the higher end ones but still affordable than replacing the whole derailleur. If you're strap for cash or in a hurry for new jockey wheels, the cheap ones will work and I doubt you'll lose all that much wattage anyways.
