Great suspension design, feels....Amazing on everything, great pedaling.
I have heard links get in the way, never experienced that myself, shock is a bit hard to reach, not a big deal though, set it, leave it, you can do that with such a great suspension design.

Pretty light frame, stiff, and geometry that suites both up and down the mountain.

Im my opinion, not a great downhill specific bike as it is marketed to be. Not quite slack and low enough.

My build is under 34 lbs: roco air shock, fox 36 float fork, 721/jumping flea wheels with lighter tires, elixir CR 8 inch brakes.
I am 6 feet tall and ride a medium frame.

I have the 07 Quake and the design on the frame is amazing, and paired w/ the dhx air it is great.

It's made for riding in marin so it can go up the hills, and down them damn well

this bike u cant go wrong with. it will do everything. If u want race DH, freeride or ado some all mountain XC it will do it nicely.

The rear suspension sucks up the big stuff easily.

The only con I can find is the setup of the air suspension is difficult.
The bike tracks amazing, feels like it has more travel than it does.

The Quad Link 2.0 is a fantastic Suspension System, never ever lets you down on the rough, and still pedals extremely well 9/10 Smile
