Dude, if you have one of worlds most awesome streetspots like 20 meters away from you, why the hell would you do a silly barspin off a silly 1ft high ledge? This is like someone getting POD for doing an endo in the parkinglot of Whistler Bikepark, while there's a crazy bikepark right behind it where actually sick stuff happens.. This is just messed up IMO haha
So doing skatepark tricks off some random curb or ledge is more street than finding and riding lines in the streets that are not made for riding, but still managing/trying to hit it anyways? There's a difference in skatepark riders doing skatepark tricks of curbs and similar stuff, than 'real' street riding: making the streets your own playground. The main thing reason why I think it's lame is because right behind him there's some really awesome stuff to ride, and then he rides something that's not much more than a high curb and gets POD. Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to be rude to the rider or anything, maybe he hit the wall 100x before and did other cool stuff. For me it's just a really weak choice for a POD because of the lame spot, especially when you can see one of world best street spots in the background. That's a bummer for me personally.
Street riding is what you make it. Don't go technical on us. You aren't a judge. This isn't a competition... It's a dope trick, in a dope spot... I think you're just mad you can't bike there.... That's all
Harry Main is exactly what I was talking about when I talked about a skatepark riders doing skatepark tricks on curbs. He's a park rider not a street rider .This is a good example which gives street riding sence: youtube.com/#/watch?v=3xazCuS5Py4. Really hitting spots/lines/gaps that are not made for riding. Doing barspins and tailwhips on curbs is just a really lame version of riding a skatepark (that's so much cooler when done in skateparks)
really u guys are going to spend your night negative propping each comment?..guess i cant talk i just spend my time ^ them back.. Love the colors on this one
