wanted zoom but couldn't wait so i got Oly LS3, amazing, battery lasts forever, sound is excelent, Tascam was first on my list but the shop didn't have it

 I got lucky, managed to get a second hand one off a mate! Makes a hell of a difference having uncompressed sound

 oh yeah, yo can do a lot of processing to your liking without getting a degraded sound.... have you tried compressing/rendering in .flac format, it's awesome, when you un-compress it you get wav sound quality, i don't think you can use it in a vid thou....

 Yeahh, I download flac whenever I can for music as well haha, love it Depends what editing software you have, but when you upload most sites will compress to their preferred format anyways
