they are syncros bht tires, and they are still in production, they are 2.5 size, fat for that diameter, i have 2.35 on my demo so thats why it looks so big.
no, it is not if you are almost 2 meter tall and over 110 kilos. and this is an experiment piece of history fork, only 300 made ever, i dont want you to understand this when you are 15 years old, but thrust me, its everything but not stupid
I didn't mean it in a derogatory way i meant it as wow hahahah that's a shitton of travel..... But yeah I know its a peice of history, but how'd you get one then? And how expensive was it, not to be rude by asking tho!
Ahh i missed this then, i hear ya I got my first one in 2006, and the second one in 2012, took me 6 years to fetch another set... thats how rare these are, and it was around 850 GBP you can do the math to dollars it is a hell of a lot for a fork, but it is worth every penny when you get used to it everything else after them just feels small and just so not right, and the buttery smoothness of 300mm of travel... you cant put a price on that. Anybody buys the ones i have for sale atm will be a verry happy bunny I wish i had the Demo 9 to put it in, but this new kit does not cope with a fork like this sadly
Hahahahaha, yeah i just personally think that its wayyyyyy to much travel i can't imagine a track that would honestly warrent that much travel...... Even rampage is right in the 200mm sweet spot...
Ive sold mine in 3 days for 850 to the UK. And this was for the one on the left, with painted brake arch, and well used. If you can show me one for sale for less buy it, the retail price of this fork was 1300+ GBP, but this is new still No need for non buyers to tell me off about the price.
So your saying vintage cars are shit and overpriced aswell, like a Jag E-type. I see. You dont need to understand this fork, it wasnt made for guys who ride xc weighd dh bikes cause its easy, this was made for people who have balls to huck monsterous drops back in the time... its not a "track" or "dh" fork. Its a piece of history, but again, if you dont like or admire it, just move over. Plenty of people do, and it will get a new home eventually, i dont mind sitting here on the wall mate.
Gotta agree with ribo88, TBH If I hadn't already got some 2014 888 I would have got your forks your selling now just for shits and giggles, I also saw a set of these go for just under £1000 in the uk, plus the fact the set you're currently selling is like new, £900 is a perfectly reasonable price
