The weather took a bit of a turn for the worse this weekend at the BDS. Crazy to think it was done dry in the morning - Laurence CE - www.laurence-ce.com
Selected by Ian Hylands - Good closeup shots are a little harder than you would think to take. This one is pretty solid, love the curtain of muddy water!
@patrickrupert, are you serious?Did you not read the description?I would love to see you attempt to take a picture that is better than this. And, this Pod is one of the select few that are actually creative without it being a biker doing a crazy backflip, no hander, or a downhiller tilted almost sideways off a berm........
i reallly like the photo but i agree with the other guy that there should be two pods cuz i respect good photographier skills and also want a photo that makes me wana go push my self to ride harder yeaah know?
I'm really disappointed not to see this shot make it farther in photo of the year. I mean, this being PinkBike and the community being 13 year old it makes sense... but I think based of artistic merit and quality this shot is waaay up there and i consider to be a gem I only discovered through the contest. Thanks for sharring
ahahahaha absolute testicle bumface, love it, yeah but its to windy up there and then you get all porc dust in your eye and then you cant ride meaning its not much better you big wheeled bum fluff
i think we should take this argument onto when i next see you haha, when you next go up to porc give us a call may come up and see you and dom do some stunts lol
@Andrewgr You can also just leave pinkbike if it's bothering you badly enough to comment publicly about it, it's great you have an opinion but to say artists are homosexuals because they are commenting intellectually on a photo is really just being a scared of changes and of new paths in the mountain biking world. Accept new ideas man, you live in a bubble where you have to get stoked all the time by watching some guy huck it? Why can't you get stoked when you see a bike getting muddy, after all, dirt is our magic carpet to your wheels and we're all along for the ride.
