andycartwheel, that is officially one of the best 2011 Spesh Demos i've ever seen, absolutley beautiful m8.But my main question is,does it live up to it's name? And is it the best DH rig ever made?As stated by many reputable MTB journo's. Gringo.
Hey thanks mate. Yip i absolutely love it. I came from a Commencal supreme dh to this and liked the way the commie handled / jumped etc but this is just way meaner. Had to firm up the suspension (due to being 95kg) but once that was done the demo just skipped across the ground, is way lighter and a nice low front end makes it handle great. Heaps of people saying above that it hasn't got the best shocks etc...don't care, I ain't no world cup racer, just do local stuff and works sweet enough for me. Appreciate the comments mate. Cheers.
Hey, thanks man. Yeh doing the Christchurch round at Living Springs. I got the only one in Chch due to a mate who owns a shop had ordered one really earily. Its a medium size frame (im 6"2 tall) and was going to get a large (due in may too) but the med fits sweet as. They're frickn orsum to ride. I did hear that there was one down in Qtown in a bike shop window.
Hey thanks mate I was just wondering about the size because I've ordered a medium and I'm only 5 foot 5.Hopefully I'll have a growth spurt soon. Can't wait tho heard heaps of good stuff about them so yeah prety excited .
At 5.5 the medium will fit ya fine. For me at 6.2 I should be on a large (going by specialized's sizings), I just like smaller bikes tho. Will be worth the wait mate.
Funny you should mention the fork and shocks. I was speaking to Tf tuned yesterday and they were telling me there is bearly if any performance increase between this shock and an rc4 same with the races and teams what your paying for is the adjustments you get on the higher models which you can tune in to certain tracks to help you go faster and even then your talking fractions of seconds, which I know if you a world cup racer could be the difference between 1st and 30th but who is?

Thanks for that info mate...theres a 4k difference in price between the models here in NZ. Stuff paying the extra when I 'set n forget' the suspension.
hey sick bike, r u doing any of the south island races and how did u get it here cos ive orderd 1 same as urs and i was told they not coming into nz till may also what size is it?
I basically rang for some advice because I was thinking of up grading my shock and they basically told me not to bother as I wouldn't notice any difference.
