jbike101: using pythagorus' theorum, the hypotonuse of the triangle with 50 out 50 down is almost exactly 70ft. i know he won't travel directly in a straight line along the hypotonuse, but it is roughly 70ft in the air.

Well lingus, he's intelligently explaining why the distance traveled is around 70 feet from the lip to the landing using math skills he learned while in school. And to be honest, I have nothing but respect for someone who actually USES the education they've been given.

Its at least 70 feet, 70 feet would be if the rider flew in a straight line from the lip of the drop to the top of the landing, since the rider will go at an arc, an arc will cover more distance so its more than 70 feet, fucking huge.

Don't get me wrong.......way cool pic. But what ever happened to "old skool" Rampage? Natural drops. Natural lines. I hope this doesn't go the same route of every other indie sport.
