i think hes cared to ride clipless. riding flats on a road bike is only for commuting, not riding.

i kinda doubt he's scared.... if he rides flats for DH he should train on flats as clips work different muscles which wouldn't be needed on flats.

I think Sam knows what he's doing.. He's the best rider in the world. Whatever he's doing you should do to..

He's far from "the best rider in the world". lol

I think sams got the most talent of any rider out there on the world cup circuit....

Seraph: He IS the best rider in the world. He has proved it in:
Schladming: Winning year after year. One year he won with f*ckin 7 seconds!
Champery: Dry time in the mud.
ValdiSole: That run he did was legendary. Nobody has ever rode a downhill bike that fast down a trail that technical.
Mount Saint Anne last year: After a BIG injury coming back still injured and not fully recovered and untrained compared to everybody elses preperations and win worlds.

And I think it was in 06 or 07 he won almost every single wc round.

So that makes him the best rider in the world? The whole world? Lance Armstrong won the Tour de France 7 times in a row, does that make him the best rider in the Universe?

As far as WC DH riders I would say Steve Peat is a better rider overall.

Kinda looks like he is riding a women's road bike or way too small of a frame. Oh and the dog is far from getting in the way, lol.
