no, its not that simple...
DW (Dave Weagle) and Trek went to court over this concept, and as far as I know, neither had "due claim" to the design, so both are free to use this concept for suspension frames

I doo see some difference on the link system from the DW link. But I cannot tell the difference on this thing and on ABP. Can you inform me?

the Split Pivot and ABP have the same idea, but are executed slightly differently in terms of the physical frame construction
