been selling those bad boyees ever since they came out in 2006 --- lots of people say the same thing: they look funky... but EVERYONE who tries them think they ride great.
Couldn’t agree more! They look heavy, and lets be honest not very good either, but I can't see it when I'm riding, so all that matters to me is that it rides well, and it certainly does! Plus brown is hardly a good looking colour! haha
Haha Yes, I do remember saying that I would get one on your pinkbike review of the Quake - Which setting should I have the bolts in for DH? The higher or lower option?
Ok, Well I'm off on a riding holiday next week, so will get her dialed in there I think on the to replace list is: Rims, Saddle, perhaps tyres & Cut steerer. Anything else I should change? How much sag should I be running? 30%? Thanks for the help Dan
I was thinking that to, Maxxis Minion should be a good bet for me Just weighed her, a slither under 38lb, not bad - I'm think perhaps getiing Stans ZTR Flow rims, what are you running?
Well there is a difference between what size I do, and what size it is capable of doing - I'm not sure how big the drops are, I'd guess anywhere between 8-12ft mabye more or less, really depends on speed, and there aren't any drops local to me to do, so I dont do them often - I use it more as a short travel DH bike since they are alot more DH trails for me to ride compared to more Freeride type trails, the UK has very little when it comes to freeride
