that is just ridiculous... the "problem" with these tracks is that half the corners look like this!
do you expect the new track to hold a bit better and not erode away so much when compared to the old one?

Yes, there is drainage all over the place. This corner is actually one of the easiest corners on the whole track. It is not as steep as it looks and that corner goes by without noticing. The rooty and steep ones are the hard corners on this track. The old track was fresh and the drainage got worn away quite fast but the new one is much better erosion wise. Just because it is steep doesn't mean it can't be well built.
Hope I can ride it some time next summer...
