I have this same except mines the slash 5 air and i keep breaking derailleur hangers in half doing small stuff, nothing that should break them, does your short cage derailleur help at all with that?
4 sure- also bolt on wheels, proper chain length( yours is too short maybe?) remember that chain gets longer when your bike compresses on a landing... haha maybe you crash to the right.. i know some dudes who just cant toss their bike so it falls on the non drive side ... I have had great luck so far with mine
you got an air or coil? actually i think the tire is hitting my frame... hahaha no but seriously, w/ rec. air in the rear shock, a 2.35 tire hit the frame on bottom out. i'm now running a very high pressure-super stiff set-up and have managed to essentially limit the travel giving me about 6.5 in of travel @ the rear wheel. this bike is made as a slopestyle bike- if you want to ride dh or trail regularly, i would be looking at a coil shock.
