I can't believe that wasn't covered under warranty. Shame on Specialized.

 I crashed - I went one way, the bike went the other way and hit some rocks. I got it fixed (for around $500) and it looks like new now to be fair, I've ridden around 2,000 km on it since with no problems (to that part of the bike.. don't get me started on the BB thing again). But it seems to me that the side wall should have been made thicker... or made of metal.

 Holy crap how the hell did you manage that??
