Anyone ride this? Yeah the suspension design looks different but it also looks like the front wheel travel as it gets compressed would kind of row up and forward. Props to the Scurra guys for going with something outside of the box we all think in.
Fugly. I'm sure many, many hours of thought and labor went into this bike. Proves the point, you can spend as much time making something that's crap as somethings that's awesome.
Jon Whyte got here and finally left after I think version four of the Whyte PRST -1 (Preston - geddit? - the ugly mechanical dog from Wallace and Gromet) - used to be lots of the ugly muts about over here circa 2002.....google it if you don't believe me....
First they need to pay there bills for producing some frames at our factory! These guys are a pain in the ass to work with! I still have some frames lying arounds in the workshop unpaid!! Beware!
i think its beneficial in that it enables the front wheel to have more of a rear ward motion when compressing compared to an normal front fork. Its like some motorcycle from suspension which apparently has some advantages
LindTaylor is right, BUT why bother with this kind of contraption with extra exposed bearings to look for, no geometry, or travel modificable apart from the damper, and i cant see how this may be a stronger o stiffer setup than what we have now.
