I think the rune is a bike perfect for someone that has his mind all set in pointing down, no mater how you get to the top, you will have the most fun an all mountain bike can give you. The Spitfire pedals better (actually amazing for a not xc bike), and also goes down stable and playful, but not as fast as the Rune. I have both bikes on the center settings for angle and bb, I may try the DHer settings soon. I just set the Rune on 27.5 and try it earlier today, but for me .. is gonna be 26, and for the Spitfire, 27.5 ...

thanks, I agree the rune is excellent downhill. I keep it in the slack setting and use a talas fork to climb. I've lately been looking at the spitfire but can't keep both. the rune is a bit heavy and I've been doing more pedaling this year. spitfire is on my list as an alternate choice. ride hard.
