Indeed, great job Kate! P.S. Prepare to have hell rain down on you mate, the trolls are coming your way.

@HGAB: Basement netbangers are punching the air right now

@suspended-flesh: Over Under for top 10 in XCO?
  • 1 0
@mm732 @suspended-flesh: I'm going to say (assuming it's a clean race, with no or limited mechanicals) top 10 but no higher than 8th.
  • 1 0
@HGAB: She hasn't been on the pace this year - I doubt she'll crack the top 10 but you never know
  • 1 0
@suspended-flesh: Yeah. I'm trying to be an optimist. Plus Evie's out and Jolanda may not be up to full strength so she could have an opportunity.

@suspended-flesh: Also it is refreshing to have someone actually be kind/neutral about Kate, thanks for not being an A****le like some others. Cheers

 @HGAB: I'm a fan - she's a local girl.

Got me! I kept scrolling ahead, looking for the start of the race. I got two minutes in before I realized the WC footage wasn't coming. That plastic kid has sick moves, though, so at least it wasn't a waste.....

Can't wait to see how my xc fantasy team does!!
  • 7 0
 You’re tied for first!
  • 7 0
 And also tied for last!
  • 3 1
Did anybody ever get the word on why XC fantasy got canceled?
  • 10 0
@meagerdude: Couldn't get prizes, so instead of just doing it for fun, they'd rather everyone be bitter.

He could be 12th or 57th but rob warner will always note when he sees kerschbarmer.

Expecting big things from Terpstra as the season progresses.

Did Lecomte flat on her last lap? She was grabbing her tire at the end....

Holy moly, that lady can climb a hill; super impressive race!
  • 2 0
yeah but fair enough, same weather, same course, Lecomte will win the XCO after winning the XCC and Fluckiger will do the same

my reply was actually for @snoopy43, sorry for that

At the post race interview she said she had a flat for te last 2 or 3 lap and was riding solw on the downhill. Impressive résult. seems she's back for the win.

Nino didn’t look right. Wonder if it’s illness or he’s just come off his epic peak from the last rounds.
  • 2 0
Nino has said he dislikes two things: Cold and wet. He had 1.5 out of 2 of those today.
  • 2 0
Still nothing from him on Instagram, which is unusual. Usually he posts a little race report.

The story of Warner eating while commentating continues. Can they not mute his mic so we don't have to hear him chew?

Picture from last year naughty naughty!

Eyy, Rockrider in the top 10! Excellent work, Allez, Allez!

 Jort track!! Yeahhhhh! Hugh!

Where was chris Blevins and Haley batten?
  • 2 0
Haley started strong and then fell off the pace. Finished 14th. Blevins, I don't know.
  • 3 1
Unfortunately Chris Blevins decided to hang out on the Left coast of the US instead of racing in Europe. He's not as dedicated to racing the World Cups as someone like Nino Shurter.
  • 4 0
@Augustus-G: oh right must have missed Haley's name in the results. Blevins not being there is a shame. You're current world champ, kinda weird he isn't hitting all world cups.
  • 2 0
@wilsonians: if I recall correctly Blevins cited exhaustion for not racing right now.

@generictrailrider: My bad. Gerardo Ulloa, the Mexican national champion
  • 1 0
He was not in the start list

 @mtbxever: no shit Sherlock

10th is pretty good. I think she will go downhill from here though.
