Just a few days ago Fox Head gave us all a tease of Ride Your F#%king Bike, their upcoming movie, and the world premiere is set to go down in SoCal on March 3rd. The movie, which is "Powered by Chainsaw" in memory of the late, great, Stevie Smith—an integral member of the Fox Head team who was going into his sixth year with the brand—will see all ticket proceeds from the premiere go to the Stevie Smith Legacy Foundation. Tickets are available in limited quantities, so you'll want to jump on it quickly.
• Date: March 3rd • Location: Santa Ana, CA • Tickets: Available here
For those of us that can't make the premiere, we will have to wait until April 5th, when the movie is set to be released to the masses. Missed the trailer? Here it is again for your viewing pleasure.
when i was at the not2bad world premiere in Vancouver everyone just wanted to head up to Whistler and shred a few laps regardless of the lack of light. I'm pretty sure the same thing is gonna happen at that event
@abzillah: yet you have nothing against it being sponsored by ONE clothing company? Simple rules of sponsorship, they have the money, they call the shots.
last time I was in Santa Ana we were stopped by a cop as soon as we got out of the car and told to get out of town, the assumption being 4 white british boys could only be there to buy drugs,
(awhile ago admittedly and you guys seem to have got more liberal of late)
@Zen-Potatoes: Speaking of 'sublime logic', you showed none here. Climate scientists don't quit their jobs due to their own carbon output do they? Or are you big on the climate scientist career market and know that. And even if they did quit their jobs, they then wouldn't go on doing basically the same job anyway putting out equal amounts of carbon into the atmosphere would they, because they wouldn't want to be hypocrites.
@Muckal: If he didn't say it, then why are you so worked up over it?! Bit odd to get so bothered by a comment that is apparently wrong and to start using caps-lock in your post.
@mgolder: because i don't like people judging others by stuff they heard somewhere and make it look like it was a fact. Too trumpish for my taste. Still waiting for proof though.
@Muckal: Trump-ish? Bloody hell, you are an uppity so and so aren't you. OK, how about judging him based on his attempted dig at red bull? A company without which all riders would be even less well known. The sport would have even less money in it. Ooooh 'drink water', subtle stuff right there as well eh. Never mind the taking of money from an energy drink company for years, because now he's decided he is above that.
Nevermind the fact he drinks alcohol too of course, a drink far more dangerous to your health and society in general than 'energy' drinks are. No, energy drinks are the problem here eh.
Or Josh sharing a Greenpeace link a while back about something, despite the fact Greenpeace are a horrible joke who do more harm than good. I'm not even an eco warrior and I know that.
@mgolder: So no critics on RB allowed? No making up your mind over time allowed? Never mind, i met him once, we had a nice talk about bikes, took a picture, had a laugh. He seems like a good guy, just suck it.
@mgolder: and yes, in my mind energy drinks (read sugar flavored with water) are a less healthy Drink than beer when drunk in the same volumes. But thats just my opinion. No need for proof or denial here, just saying to save some of your time.
Young lads dickin around aint my thing anymore though i'm sure i'll watch it at some point, good luck with the proceeds and project in general. Title does give a bit of a shit impression of mtn bikers in general though. Anyway, hope it goes well, longlivechainsaw

Not difficult to understand really is it?

Hypocrisy seems to come pretty easily really.
