Highland:
Highland reopened on May 28 with a series of measures in place to protect riders and member of staff. They are as follows:

- You will need a mask to visit the park!
- If you are not a season pass holder, you must reserve a day pass online in advance.
- When you arrive at the mountain, check-in at the Welcome Center. Cones are placed outside the building and there are stickers on the ground inside to keep visitors six feet apart. We will be asking all riders the standard COVID-19 screening questions set forth by the State of NH. In order to minimize contact, staff will also be asking you to put your wristband on yourself.
- We will be implementing social distancing guidelines in the lift line. Distancing markers are placed six feet apart, so you know where to stand.
- Groups who travel to the mountain together (presumably riders who have been quarantining together) will be able to ride the lift together. Our staff will not be pairing people together. It is your responsibility to stay within your group.

Mountain Creek:
Mountain Creek reopened on June 6 with a series of measures in place to protect riders and member of staff. They are as follows:

- If you are feeling sick or have been exposed to someone in your household who is feeling sick or has recently tested positive for COVID-19 – Please stay home. The trails will be waiting for you when you are feeling better and it is safe for you to visit.
- To better allow for social distancing, we will be limiting the amount of daily Lift Tickets we will be selling. All ticket and rental purchases must be made online in advance of your visit.
- There will be no onsite sales for Lift Tickets or Bike Rentals at this time.
- The Red Tail parking lot and driveway will remain closed for all guest parking and drop off. All guests should enter the resort on the Cobblestone Village side at the Mountain Creek marquee sign.
- Upon arrival, please check in with our staff in the booth at the entrance to the Cobblestone Parking Lot to pick up your tickets and passes. No ticket or pass pickup will be offered at the Red Tail Lodge.

- When parking please try to leave at least one open space between you and the next vehicle. When at your vehicle, please try to maintain social distance and keep your socializing only to the group that you came with. There will be a time for parking lot hangs and drinks shared after a good day of riding, but that time is not now.
- Please don’t Dirty Jersey and whatever trash you bring with you, please take home with you. That includes your riding buddies.
- Face coverings will be required for all guests in the base area and when not riding on your bike. A full-face helmet does not count as a face covering. Regardless of what your personal beliefs are on the use of masks there will be no exceptions to this rule. Our masks keep you safe. Your masks keep us safe.
- Restrooms will be available at the Red Tail Lodge. Please enter through the Biergarten entrance on the side of the lodge and maintain social distancing. Please know that we have staffed a dedicated restroom attendant to keep up on the cleaning and sanitization of our restrooms in accordance with current COVID-19 best practices.
- Limited curbside repair and retail services will be offered at the Red Tail Lodge. Broke something or forgot something? See our staff in front of the Red Tail Lodge for assistance.
- Rentals will be available for advanced online reservation starting on Saturday June 6. Rental bikes and pads will be thoroughly sanitized after each guest use.
- Lessons will not be available at this time. We are currently working on our plans and protocols to safely be able to offer lessons and hope to be adding those in the coming weeks.
- We will be limiting any high touch areas for the time being, this includes water jugs and rider seating areas at the lift. Please be prepared to be self-sufficient during your time at the park.

- At this time please note that no Bike Wash will be offered for guest use. A clean bike is a fast bike, but a dirty bike is a safe bike.
- Please maintain strict social distancing during your time with us at the park. Only congregate with the guests you arrived with, minimize your stopped time on trails and keep all high fives at least 6 feet apart.
- While waiting at the lift, please follow all posted signage, requirements and maintain at least 6 feet of distance between you and the next group of guests while waiting to load the lift.
- Masks must be worn while waiting to load the lift. No exceptions.
- We will be limiting the loading of the Cabriolet Gondola to only one biker or family group per cabin. Party Cabs will just have to wait.
- Keep your hands to yourself. Gondola cabins will be sanitized at the top of the mountain after each ride, but for your safety and that of your fellow riders please try to limit the number of surfaces you touch in the cabin.
- Have a plan in advance. Please limit the amount of time you spend at the top of the mountain and mid-mountain trail hubs. Have a plan of where you want to go in advance.
- We encourage riders to only ride with those other riders who arrived with them. Please maintain social distancing on the trails and at any trail merges or hubs. Rider spacing of at least 20 feet is recommended for maximum safety.
- See an injury or if you are injured yourself... Call EMS at 973-864-8888

Open:

Windhill Bike Park // Rogate:
Windhill Bike Park // Rogate reopened on June 6 with a series of measures in place to protect riders and member of staff. They are as follows:

- Limited numbers on site - Visitors will need to pre-purchase a day pass as only limited numbers will be allowed per site per day. We are working on the ability for registered members to do this but it won’t be operational until we have a confirmed opening date. There will be a provision for Full and Site members to have the cost of pre-purchased day passes refunded on arrival. As numbers will be restricted Full and Site members pre-booking and then not turning up would be an unacceptable outcome.
- If you arrive having not pre-purchased one of the limited day passes you will not be able to ride - no exceptions even if you’ve made a 500 mile round trip having first made sure your vision is OK by visiting a local beauty spot.
- Unaccompanied minors (under 14) will not be admitted even if they have purchased a ticket - the parks are not to be seen by parents as an alternative to home schooling.
- As much as the B1KEPARKS are a third place outside of Home and Work/School please during this first period of phased opening please only visit to ride as opposed to hang out – So during this phase please only Arrive, Ride, Depart. Obviously that is not to say you must been a state of perpetual motion but getting dropped off for the day and spending most of it socialising is not reasonable behaviour in the current climate.

- If you are worried that your eyesight has been impaired due to the virus, neither our trails or the drive here are the places to check how well its working, stay home and recuperate until you have fulfilled the quarantine required.
- Maintain social distancing if queuing on session push ups, fire roads or anywhere else.
- Riders to ride full runs or if seasoning trail only from designated session points.
- Ride within yourselves, a constant stream of emergency vehicle to sites is likely to see us closed down again….besides do you really want to be in an A&E department where contagion risks higher and the staff are already massively under-resourced.

This list is academic for anyone who has the miss fortune to live in the UK. Imagine we will likely be banned / quarantined from the rest of the world for most of summer due to our "world leading" approach to pandemic management

Strong and stable etc etc

 Pick for Britain

actually the Swiss are welcoming us , and verbeir and Zermatt are both mint spots , as are Lenzerheide and Davos

Yup, it's not good at all.....

@scblurlt: with the current caveat of mandatory 14 day isolation on your way back (and possibly on the way out as well, not sure on Swiss rules?).

Also, travel insurance during a period the FCO advise against travel is liable to be problematic.
  • 2 0
@GrandMasterOrge: not on way out , but atm on return for sure , but think well see that go away by end of month , as regards travel insurance , they've not played fair during this whole crisis , I think I would go with my ehic card this year and maybe local resort insurance similar to ski trips

Its not great and I look forward to trip to the Alps every year, but there there is a lot of brilliant riding to be had in the UK as well. Scotland and Wales specifically, which I hope will open up soon, but also in England as well. The UK has enough trails for a fun staycation this year should everything stay as it is.

I've just booked flights to Spain and Greece across August and September so I hope not! Have faith!

@scblurlt: Only 'cos they know we'll have to fly into Geneva and spend 45 Francs on some breakfast. Their fast food should come with a free watch or something.
  • 4 0
@fielonator: 45 francs is a bargain when you consider how super duper friendly all the airport staff are.
  • 1 0
@fielonator: twice now I've been delayed in Geneva and the airline have offered complimentary food vouchers.....to the value of 15 CHF. :/

@panchocampbell: spot .... meaning place to ride :-)

I think part / most of the problem with the UK (aside from the shambles that is our collective approach to Covid) is that our bike parks are accessed by sitting in the back of an old Land Rover defender where social distancing is defined as managing to sit far enough away from the person next to you so as not to be able to count how many hair follicles they have.

Ironically, the uplift van is part of the reason why UK bike parks are so bloody epic - you just can't replace the banter that's had in the back of an old, wet and smelly van!
  • 10 0
 +1 for this!

Those that are used to chairlifts may not appreciate just how close you get to the person sat next to you on an average up UK uplift.

Plus side of the UK is I can see places like BPW/Black Mountains/Revs etc opening for pedal up on enduro or e-bikes. Not the same, but will at least get things moving.
  • 5 1
I wish there were more Land Rover Defenders around here... and why are the vans way better looking over there?

flag tempest3070 (Jun 15, 2020 at 12:18) (Below Threshold)
Kind of sounds like you like riding in the uplift van and not riding your bike mate - a good day at a bike park for most of us is had on the trails not on the lift
  • 10 0
Ahh the stinky bus. Never mind the banter, I love the game of chance. Will my driver be fast? Will he be slow? Will I watch the bike trailer drift the corners? Will the van smell more of ass than the last one? Will the driver only play Welsh language radio?
Experiences never to be had at ski resorts.
  • 4 0
Everyone should have had the chance to experience being hauled up in the mountain at Bootleg Canyon in the old U-haul box truck packed wall to wall with people, breathing in the fumes from the exhaust leak.
  • 1 0
@GrandMasterOrge: can’t say I’d pedal up revs uplift road , black Mountain would be a good shout mind , would have been sooo good there this past month , and can’t believe BPW are not offering anything atm as the place is made for it and not a bad pedal up , on a busy day it’s better to session the top than wait in line for the bus
  • 5 1
@Tallboy97: I was on that shuttle once and the engine died. We were almost to the top when we started rolling backwards and the trailer jackknifed. We luckily salmmed into the ONLY boulder on the side of the road that kept us from rolling right off and down the steep ass hillside. It was terrifying! Especially for me bc I was looking out of that little window on the top that looked out over the cab. No one else in the truck could clearly see how it happened. They got the U haul started again and half of the people jumped in to get all the way to the top. The other half of us said f*ck that and didn't get back in the death trap. I rode one of the XC trails down. The U haul was off to the shop after that run and shuttles were done for the day. Pretty sure I paid for the full day too!
  • 2 1
@scblurlt: I wouldn't like to either but just saying it may be the only option for some bike parks to get going again.

Regards BPW - remember that Wales is still under lockdown, most leisure businesses not open at all, a generally accepted local/5 mile limit on travelling and people from England not allowed to travel into Wales for non-essential journeys. With all that in mind I don't think it's feasible or responsible for them to open even if they were allowed.
  • 1 0
@Tallboy97: Haha so true! Ratty ass couches, couple lawn chairs, roll the door down and hope for the best. The brake smell once the truck got to the bottom was a concern for the driver for sure, good times!
  • 1 0
@Tallboy97: I've only ridden the flat bed trucks with bikes slung over the side rails at dirt demos (rip). Standing room only! Sick trails out there.

In France, a lot of the smaller bike parks are re-opening, and pretty much all should be open by July. In the Alpes Maritimes, some bike parks will actually be free all summer! Now I just need to make my wife understand that I was not joking about going to live in the car in the mountains for a few weeks.
  • 3 0
lac blanc bike park , close to la bresse, opened 2 weeks ago as well, up closer to paris thank god.
  • 3 0
Indeed: La Moulière has reopened 10 days ago, so did Roubion.
Isola 2000 and Auron will be the free ones and are supposed to open in the next couple weeks.
No dates yet for Valberg.

On the Italian side, Prato Nevoso has also opened last weekend (it is in the same area as Viola St Gréé and Monte Alpet)

Tell me how it went... I also need to talk to my wife... She is not happy

Great news for bikers and the parks.

"Nature is healing" is a poor choice of words. Bike parks and stuff re=opening is probably close to the opposite of that.

Thunder Mountain Downhill park has also been open since May 30th. Open weekends 9-5 and Friday 10-5. Some would say it's even better than highland... Also fort hill is currently under construction and should be open by the end of this week.
  • 2 0
Got a chance to do Thunder Mountain on Saturday. Insane riding for the price and I personally liked it more than Highland - the trails had some more breathing room and I felt like I could open it up a bit more. The parking lot is a lot bigger and the zip line looked like a lot of fun. Going to try it again this weekend on one of those rental Demos - should be a bit better than my Fuse!

Highland still has Wednesduro/Thursduro going for it and I liked the food there better. The trails that I’ve done have been super techy and the braking bumps are pretty brutal in places, but the real advanced stuff seems to be more liked there. I’m too much of a noob to hit the real big stuff yet.
  • 5 1
I find it interesting that we in America will let folks in bars now but continue to be concerned about opening ski areas and bike parks. It speaks to many things that I won't get into here, but I guess if you consider we've converted all these places essentially into country clubs as opposed to areas focused on skiing and biking, it makes sense.
  • 3 0
Great point and f*cking gyms are open too? If that’s not a Petri dish?? Pretty damn easy to keep it clean and fun while social distancing at a bike park

@Robertoregency: I think yes,if nothing more strange take place or the weather is very crazy in October (ice&snow, not very probable). It is opening very soon.
You can follow on Facebook www.facebook.com/LaPinillaEEyM or if you want, you can ask me when you wish,I´m from Madrid so waiting to ride there.
If you want to know some other places near Madrid or in Spain mtbspaintravel.com ,those are good friends based in Madrid.
La Pinilla looks good, they are digging a lot, improving the trails. The manager has changed,so new people is taking control and doing it more seriously. In February all the trails were in very good condition, best I ever saw there by far. So take your bike, you would enjoy it 100%.

Snow Valley is also open... not quite Snow Summit, but my son and his buddy had a great time there....
  • 5 0
Skypark at Santa's Village bike park is open also.
  • 3 0
I'm not sure how to read into that Vail plans to "reopen all their parks by late June/early July" on the Whistler notes and then you read CLOSED:Northstar, and not to mention Crested Butte, Keystone, and Stevens Pass aren't even listed.
  • 1 0
 Yeah seriously
  • 3 0
Big White Bike Park Opening has been postponed to July 10, 2020. Unfortunately Mother Nature didn't get the memo that we want to get out there and ride - we're still getting snow, so we are working on clearing trails but still a ways off from seeing dirt and having the trails ready to go.
  • 1 0
 Please hurry...
  • 1 0
I wonder if this is the same reason why Silverstar is starting on July 9...
  • 2 0
I was just up that way and not a single patch of snow so I’m not sure how they have any in Kelowna. Maybe yesterday and some today but as far as the rest of the month it’s going to be in high 20’s@rossi45:
  • 1 0
@sixohfourx: top of the lift for the bike park is 2150m. Still a lot of snow at that elevation.
  • 9 3
 Please... Don't come to silver.
  • 3 0
Also, semi related, Havoc Bike park and Descend Bike Park are open in the UK (although Havoc is members only and limited numbers). Farmer Johns and Leeds Urban Bike Park are still closed
  • 7 2
Its great to see how lucky we are here in the UK, the French get Les Gets we get Roegate lol...
  • 1 1
Yup where did we go wrong...it's very sad when you look at our numbers....
  • 3 1
That is so funny, Brits in les Portes du Soleil always say the french alps are meh and complain because we dont speak English too ...
  • 1 1
@Ba1rog: everyone speaks English mate !
  • 1 0
@Matt115lamb: I was in Morzine speaking French to my friends and some random Brit insulted us. They said stop speaking monkey no one like your country ... The best one was the white flag surrender monkey racist "joke" in Chatel regarding my "tan" friend. He was in the army and went to Afghanistan and French Guyane lol. I am gonna say nothing about English bike thieves in the PDS L O L.
  • 1 0
 @Ba1rog:
Je rigolais ! We are lazy bunch I must admit lol
  • 5 0
Don't forget us British we can still go to the zoo! Balance is restored....pfft

Today is my first day back working in a Whistler Blackcomb owned bike shop. We are aiming to be open for June 26th. I still have not heard if that’s when the bike park will be opening as wells
  • 1 1
With the border not opening now until at least end of july i highly doubt vail is going to invest in opening the bike park this season.
  • 2 0
@onemind123: Difficult to say when or if they will open, but they're already "investing" in the bike park. Trail crews and lift maintenance have already been working for a couple of weeks on Whistler. They've built the bike platform on the Fitz Chair already.
  • 5 0
Blue Mountain in Pennsylvania is open
  • 4 2
^ What he said. Simply stating Blue Mountain in the article without specifying that you are only referring to the one in Canada seems kinda lazy PB....
  • 4 0
@Shartriloquist: I believe Killington in Vermont is opening this weekend too
  • 7 0
@Shartriloquist: Well it is under the Canada section.
  • 1 0
@Shartriloquist: They did put them under Country categories (Blue Mountain in Canada is closed, BM in US is open) but yeah, it might have been nice to have some additional clarity. I know I always get frustrated when people don't specify which one they're referring to.
  • 1 0
@Snowrydr01: Yep, Killington is open now but Vermont has special restrictions for out of state visitors: accd.vermont.gov/covid-19/restart/cross-state-travel

Not much of a 'destination' bike park, but Greek Peak in upstate New York is open on weekends by reservation: www.greekpeak.net/bike-park/downhill-mountain-biking
  • 1 0
@cyclecuse: Wow those are wild, its worded like a strict fact instead of a recommendation like they have someone at the border checking for your 7 to 14 day quarantine papers before entering the state. I know someone up there camping this weekend from PA and can almost guarantee he had no clue this existed.
  • 2 1
@cyclecuse: I was at killington last weekend. They don’t give a shit about where you are coming from. I live in Florida.
Had a blast there, but it was freezing..48 degrees
  • 1 2
They don’t give a crap about the quarantine bs. I came up from Florida last Saturday and rode there. @Snowrydr01:
  • 5 0
@ricochetrabbit: Clearly you missed this when making your reservations and the trek from Florida..... www.killington.com/the-mountain/mountain-info/coronavirus-impact

I guess the rules don't apply to you?

For others coming from out of state, just follow the rules as best you can so the state doesn't close things down again. Nothing worse than flatlanders ruining it for everyone.
  • 1 0
@dgski9: I would love to follow the rules (out of stater) but not many people have enough money or vacation time to quarantined for 14 days or 7 and get tested BEFORE doing anything in the state. I understand the concern having family friends at the base of Killington and it being a small community without a major healthsystem, but the requirements are such that they are almost impossible to actually follow.
  • 1 0
I didn’t miss anything. Because I called them to purchase my tickets and ask them about that regulation and they said they are not enforcing it and to come on up and enjoy myself which is exactly what we did@dgski9:
  • 1 0
@Snowrydr01: ....like everyone that shit their pants and left their closed states to come invade FL during the whole thing. Yeah, they really gave a shit about our safety.

Any information on Stevens Pass in Washington?
  • 4 0
ebikes. we'll camp in the parking lot and hope those plug-ins are working.
  • 4 0
I drove by Saturday and there's still a ton of snow up there. They couldn't open if they wanted for I'd guess a month.
  • 1 0
snow is lingering loooowwwwwww this year
  • 1 0
They are not going to open Stevens this summer. Staying closed all summer.
  • 3 0
Just FYI that the June 26th date listed for Sun Peaks is actually open only for passholders. No visitors or day-pass purchases until June 29th.
  • 2 0
We have 2 weeks books there in August. It will be our 6th vacation there, though we haven't been in a couple years. They were still working on the upper Route 66 the last time we were there. Since we were last there, they've reworked Smooth Smoothy in to a new trail, added a new top-to-bottom green run and added a new jump line, so we're pretty excited. Big Grin
  • 3 0
@samael: See you in August! We have a bunch of fun new trails for you to check out since you last visited including Level Up, Canada Line, and Bermalade, as well as reworked sections on other trails.

Our little ski hill here in Whitehorse, YT is opening for bikes again this summer starting on July 1. There a bit of process to get tickets though as they are limited to 50 riders on the hill. Below are the details.

"Each operational bike day will have two time slots, each 3 hours long, with a maximum of 50 available tickets per slot. You MUST REGISTER in advance! Registration will close 48hrs before each Bike Night. Once the first slot is finished, guests will need to exit the premises before the following slot begins. " www.mountsima.com/mountain-biking

I'm worried in the UK who is going to be able to open back up. These guys who run the parks don't make mega bucks as it is, and I know a few cancelled snow days can have a serious impact.

Also no finale ligure mentioned on the list?
  • 1 0
Call me paranoid/irrational but I'm likely going to skip Trestle this year.

The new gondolas were a PITA before covid. Three large riders trying to cram in with their bikes was an awkward dance. On top of that, even on day with a good breeze and all the vents open those things were stuffy as heck. Even riding alone, I don't feel like those things will air out enough between riders.

Shoot, covid aside, I'd love for them to bring back the open chairs just so that way I don't get punched in the face by someones front tires while we all scurry into the lift.
  • 1 0
Duststar At Tahoe will be missed this summer, but I do recognize that I would see carnage every single time that I went. It's difficult to keep social distancing during medical rescues. I will have to wait a while longer to get my addiction fix from Dustwire.

Sugarloaf, NB.... In Campbellton. Anyone travelling to that zone is advised to isolate for 14 days upon their return.... Definitely not good for business. Also, NB is closed to non-essential traffic. Best wishes to all the staff, and thanks for the continued team support. Much love! DT.

@edspratt Can we include the Mountain Capital Partners bike parks? The following are open: Spider Mountain, Purgatory Resort Bike Park, Brian Head Resort Bike Park. Pajarito Mountain Bike Park is closed this summer.
  • 4 0
 Any word from Crested Butte?
  • 4 0
They opened. But they decided to destroy their best trails this spring when they gladed a south facing, low elevation area because they wanted to offer terrible skiing in that zone.
  • 1 0
@toast2266: which/where? Just curious, I’m here for the first time.
  • 1 0
@erikkellison: The whole Overflow zone (bottom of Kashmir). It was the only place in the bike park that had rooty trails in the trees where the dirt stayed good. Now most of the trails in the area are destroyed, and the few that are left are out in the open, so they're gonna dry out and be shitty by mid-July like every other trail in the bike park.
  • 1 0
@toast2266: I see that now... looks like ZZ Top, Cindy’s Loppers, and Summit trail are all that’s open in there. You weren’t kidding - that whole place is leveled. Sad to hear that the forest was keeping the dirt there nice in summer, and that’s now gone. I can see that being a big issue when it’s been hot and dry (not now).
FWIW, what is open here is running perfectly. I hope for everyone’s sake they rebuild, but it makes sense - people who bring money in tend to like groomers, and know who to talk to about changing the mountain layout.

I think the question we are asking; when will the border open so we can actually GET to Whistler, let alone ride it.
  • 29 3
Never. We shut down our economy and everyone stayed home so now we have less than 10 new cases a day. You guys didn't so we're keeping the border closed.

Provincial announcement on Phase 3 today at 3:00 I believe.... fingers crossed and also hoping that people don't go nuts like it's a sudden free-for-all....
  • 1 0
 @whitehonky: They will.
  • 1 1
@whitehonky: People went already nuts after Phase 1 got announced. I was yesterday in Tsawwassen - Surrey! I can only say if that keeps on going we will have another Phase 0 coming in September! Social Distancing - looks like coming from the Lower Mainland toward the West into the bigger Cities - everyone gives a shit about Covid19 and is in Phase 3 since weeks.......can only imagine how it would work in Whistler.

Lets see how it works. I would be stoked to ride Whistler at some point but imagine standing in the line with 300 other riders - one guy has it....... we should still take it with respect !
  • 2 0
@DoctorWatson: go to Sunpeaks - based on the average attendance in the summer they've been socially distancing for years!
  • 14 3
@whitehonky: so one thing to put this in perspective: more people in BC died from opiod overdoses last month than the total killed by Covid this year. Is Covid real? absolutely, but it emphatically impacts the eldery and those with underlying condtions dramatically harder than the general public. It would be nice if we focused our response on these at-rsik groups, used some of the leftover resources to target street drugs that are an overshadowed crisis and let a lot of those low-risk people get on with their free-for-all (like riding bikes at ski hills).
  • 3 1
@plyawn: there's way too much common sense in your statement. And as you know, common sense in government just does not exist.
  • 2 2
 @plyawn: Cant upvote this enough.
  • 3 1
@plyawn: I got ripped apart on Instagram for saying that I wish the media hype would end and that the borders would open. I had all kinds of Canadians telling me "You're American so the border should stay closed to you". One guy even went as far as to say "typical American attitude, wanting everyone else to bend to your whims".

I was like geez all I want is to travel and ride like the rest of us here lol.
  • 3 0
@plyawn: I rode through downtown east side Vancouver yesterday. That area is a hellhole, drug related proverty is the worst kind. The point is that we have safe injection sites, free drugs and free housing but it just gets worse. I don’t think the problem will be solved by money. The deaths from opioid overdoses before the pandemic and during the pandemic really has no bearing on whether we mountain bike or not.

STAY UPDATED ON COVID-19 AT KILLINGTON/PICO

Vermont is currently restricting who can travel into the state of Vermont and visit our resort as part of its COVID-19 response plan. If you are considering coming to the resort you must meet one of the following criteria:

You are a resident of a non-quarantine county in NY, NH, ME, MA, CT or RI according to the map provided HERE by the state of Vermont and travel directly to Vermont in your personal vehicle. You must register with Sara Alert upon arrival to Vermont to get two weeks of daily reminders to check for common symptoms of COVID-19.
You are a resident of a quarantine county in NY, NH, ME, MA, CT or RI according to the map provided HERE by the state of Vermont –OR– a resident of any other state and have self-quarantined for 14-days upon arrival into Vermont or quarantine for at least seven days upon arrival into Vermont and receive a negative COVID-19 test. You must register with Sara Alert upon arrival to Vermont to get two weeks of daily reminders to check for common symptoms of COVID-19.
Effective June 15: You may complete the 14-day quarantine or 7-day quarantine followed by a negative test in your home state and enter Vermont without further quarantine restrictions if you drive directly from your home via personal vehicle.
Effective June 15: You may complete the 14-day quarantine or 7-day quarantine followed by a negative COVID-19 test in one of our lodging properties but you must not leave the resort for the duration of the quarantine other than to travel to and from a test site.
The quarantine vs. non-quarantine county map will be updated every Monday at 5:00 p.m. by the state of Vermont. After July 1st, the State of Vermont plans to re-evaluate this criteria to determine if it should be expanded or restricted based on current data. For more information about how to quarantine, visit the Vermont Department of Health’s quarantine chart.

It is disappointing our UK parks are closed.

But on the plus side, that list had 16 parks listed in a country that's small enough to drive end to end all in daylight hours.

What we lack in epic alpine scale we make up in variety and accessability. A lot if thise parks are doable as daytrips for a lot of people.

There's probably a few Canadians here that have to go further for bread, milk and a newspaper than we do for a bikepark. (I suppose they can get their news online but that Internet Bread is just not the same)
