It’s hard to vote against Tippie but its not about him it‘s about the art of photography.
The photo of Tippie shows the entire line - you can barely see him because the line is huge!
I agree with your general sentiment that it should be a biking photo, but we look at the same photos and have opposite feelings for the same reasons - which is actually kind of cool.
I loved Anthony's photo so can't argue with the judges.
IMO most of them are very, very good (except maybe the ones where you need a magnifying glass to find the rider or the berm explosion which is, fortunately, out).
