That stoppie thing at 2:00... That was rad! First time I've seen this dude, and I was like "he's a ninja on a bike". Then come to find out he's the Ninja rider/Trials Japan National Champion. Anyone know what that ramp is at the end? The one he flips onto a stair set, Is it a manufactured ramp...?
I watched it to the end hoping to see that gnarly drop to stairs that destroyed his rear wheel. Not seeing that was the only downside to this edit. That was so wild.
Really creative street riding! That roof to tire ride was sick, and his riding has a very unique style and approach to what's in front of him. Good to see something new!
Excellent edit, some moves were really high consequence, like that roof gap to skinny ledge or the backflip into the stair set. This guys got skills. And balls.
Storylines are great when done well. I think UnReal was one of the best with that. This one kind of loses it a bit when the "girl" is just a few metres away when he could literally run up to "her" and hand back the cloth. Other than that it was fun.
Yes, it was very corny but coming from Japan its quite nice to see!
Most people here don't really like to joke around and have fun so this video was sweet for me to see
these dudes shredding hard yet keeping it light and kind of funny!
One thing is for sure, Japan has many unique street lines to shred an enjoy!
@nikoniko: I see, it's just I don't like Wibmers storylines too. But hey, it's only my opinion and I didn't want to insult anyone. Tomomi is a great rider and the video was fun watching. If it helps to make the Japanese laugh - awesome .
I agree...while Fabio is an extremely talented rider, I think Tomo edges him out on his tech and lines when it gets trialsy. Creatively I think they're pretty on par with each other, one just has a substantially bigger video budget. Been a fan of him for years and some of the lines he posts on IG while sometimes not as risky as Fabio, they're definitely really, really tech.
It's just music library shit. Flat fee for use, no tricky licensing issues.
Music sucked in a generic kind of way. Not as bad as the music in Fabio Wibmer's edits though, they suck in a "holy shit that music really sucks" kind of way.
Second, I would have rather seen all the clips in a 4:00 minute all action edit. All the filler shots and contrived story with the terrible open license music just to chase the viral video aspect ruins it. It was essentially the same video as the last several Fabio edits and really took away from the incredible skills for me.
This is obviously one person’s opinion, and every rider/artist should pursue their vision.
Good riding though, and lots of creative little lines. NOICE
Love the Toyota van, wish we could get them new in Canada!
Anyone know what city was this was filmed in?
4:35 had me cringe.
Get this guy with 50:1!
