bigquotesI was thinking of ways to keep busy after my upcoming knee surgery, and thought it would be a fun project to make a self-shot edit while I could still ride. The next day, I borrowed a tripod and got to it.

The goal was to make a fast-paced no filler edit, and I think it turned out pretty close to the original idea. Hope you all enjoy it!

Nice work John (the only person on the planet who managed to build a 'no expenses spared' Transition Smuggler that weighed in at 87 pounds Wink )! Healing vibes re. your knee!

When I try this myself it looks more like I've filmed it in slow motion! Must improve my riding speed and style!

This is great, I think this is how mountain bike clips should be. No filler, no talking, shows the angle, shows the features, you can see how the bike reacts, and how the rider carries his body. I feel like too many people rely on gopro, and I end up watching some dudes handlebars while he manuals over features down the trail. Well done!

Agreed, and no music please! Love the raw noise.

Great edit John thanks for sharing!

Because the content on Pinkbike is a bit British Columbia centric I often wonder what assumptions people from around the world make when they think about the culture of mountain biking and the accessibility of trails here?
